Walbridge Woodworks, Inc. made its first major investment back in 1996 with the purchase of the Biesse Rover 322 point-to-point CNC router. The Rover 322 is networked with the office computers which feed program files to the machine. Programs are created by processing AutoCad drawings with the CAM software which generates code that the machine understands.
Walbridge Woodworks, Inc. has made many investments in order to allow the company to stay competitive in this growing market. One of the largest investments was the addition of Pattern Systems, Inc. software. These programs have allowed this company to streamline the design, planning, purchasing, and production processes.
Also purchased at the same time as the software addition was the Selco EB70 panel saw. This has increased our cutting capacity along with streamlining the production. The saw has an onboard pc which is networked with the office computers which feed the saw with optimized cut panels and label files. The on board label printer then prints a label for each part that is produced.
